The location was excellent

Since the property requires keys to get in, it wasn't too easy to get into when you first arrive. So we had to wait a while for the host to come collect us.

The location was superb, just right inside of Ximending.

The location was superb, just right inside of Ximending. The room was clean, tidy & very cozy. Loved it.

The room is actually a little bit too small, tight. Check in process was ok, satisfied. We knew that we need to stay quite because the sound insulation was very very very bad so every time when we’re in the room, we were very quite and whispering to each other but the foreign worker told us to stay quite...? That foreign worker behaviour has to change lol. Very frustrated when she told us that! We’re already very quite!

Ok Stay, but may not Again.

location was great, right in Xeminding area, near Red House, hot hip youngest area. Xeminding Night market was great, but breakfast was not as much, we only stayed 1 night. No one ever at Lobby but will come when she see you standing there.

but finding was a bit hard, but the girl came to meet us and take us to the property. The decor was what attracted me but we didn't see anything, i reserved a room with Greece decor, queen size bed, but got 2 double beds(informed i was upgrade, because the water heater were broken) and NO decor. Bathroom is not the best as it publish, the property is dated. Payment was requested in CASH not Credit card AT all. We had to got CASH at the downstairs 7/11 ATM.

The room we received was extremely small and did not look...

The room we received was extremely small and did not look like the one o the photos nor it matched the description, after complaining that we payed for the bigger room the owner replied "we can change but other room old" after asking few more questions that took him hours to answer (we were texting) he told me "its actually the same size" so he basically wasted our time since we were waiting in the room ready to move. I called him around 11 at the morning on the last day of our stay to ask if its possible for us to stay one more night since my friend had food poisoning, he answered half asleep not making any sense, he texted me back at 2pm 2 hours after we checked out "sorry i was sleeping"... very professional... The whole hotel smelled like cigarettes, it was allowed to smoke on the corridor :(

My stay was unpleasant and cannot be recommended.

The property is very private. and well-secured. It is just near corner streets, and can be located if you are already staying in the hotel. It is situated in the busy street where you can do some shopping.

There is no sign board. It's as if it is operating underground. The place is locked, and there is no one to attend to us when arrived early morning at around 3:00 a.m. despite my advise to the property owner. However, we're fortunate enough to have a taxi driver who assisted us in calling the staff. There is no housekeeping.

noisy at night, bad experience

we stay for two nights and we've heard many noise at night and hard to have a good sleep. the noise sounds very very very close to our door and bed. at the last night, in the midnight around 1AM, a group of people were so loud outside the room. they even played with the speaker and the sounds came in our room, think that speaker is for emergency purpose, so EVERY ROOM can hear that, we're really angry and left the room to stop them. and they asked me whether I work there as they want to check-in.... This experience was absolutely TERRIBLE!!!

What was the highlight of 樂居台北

Once you know the place, then it is a good badget accomodation.

It was a nice clean room with own shower with a tooth brush and shampoo, body wash were settled in shower wall. Woo long tea bag, fledge and a little hair dryer too. Also if people stay many days, then there was a washing machine and tumble dryer in community area.

We stayed one night as we had a transit in Taiwan and had long waiting time with change airport with our flight from London Gatwick to Tokyo Haneda. We couldn't have any wifi since we left the Taiwan main station and I missed their email, so we've got lost to find the place but we couldn't contact them. Even when we found the front of place, it wasn't look like somewhere we expected as it was in between shops in the very busy street and the door of the building was closed and we couldn't see any name recognize the accommodation in front of the building. Maybe we missed as we were there very late, dark and tired after 13 hours flight. As we were not sure, we look around elsewhere again ( Also try to find a free wifi to find more infos which wasn't success) then we felt only the place should be the one, so we went back abd the main door was open, so we went up to 2nd floor. There were still no name of the accommodation on door but we were desparate to get into find out, so we knocked the door then luckily a girl came out who were starting there. She contacted to the person who have got a key for us as we didn't have wifi to contact to the person. Also you need to pay by cash, so it is better to change money in airport before you go.

a wonderful stay

The location is superb! Right inside xi men ding! The room was incredibly clean and comfortable! Washing machine and dryer provided! A very pleasant stay and will definitely come back again!

a pleasant room in a nice part of town

Excellent location. Room was clean and cosy. Friendly staff.

There was a communication problem between management and staff. My luggage arrived late. It was put in the luggage room and no one told the cleaning lady to bring it to my room. It took several days and numerous calls to the airline to find out what had happened.

Location is excellent as it is at the start of on of Ximen entrance.

Difficult to find when the roads into Ximen is closed. Room is very small Lift to the room is smelly Toilet is super small Sound proofing is terrible as you can hear the people talk along Ximen street
